Eat the invaders event

As an extension of the series Eat The Invaders,听the Environment Institute at the University of Adelaide hosted an event to delve into thought-provoking, conversation and debate around the critical issue of invasive species and their effect on Australian biodiversity.

A collaboration between the Environment Institute, Australian Wildlife Conservancy, Biodiversity Council and ABC Impact and Partnerships, and Closer Productions this event featured:

  • A screening of Episode 5 鈥淐ats鈥听from ABC Australia鈥檚听Eat the Invaders
  • An interactive panel discussion and Q&A听- engaging with scientific experts who are working to protect the environment.

The panel discussion viewed actionable steps to mitigate threats posed by invasive species and challenge our conventional thinking around conservation and sustainability.
